Alexander Vogl

Since 1986, Alexander has worked as a full‑time professional diving instructor and has dedicated his career to introducing discerning guests like you to the underwater world – with passion, precision and an uncompromising commitment to safety. He founded the European Diving School in Saint‑Tropez and Hyères, two addresses that have become a benchmark for refined, high‑end diving on the French Riviera.

Previously, he served as a diver with the German Armed Forces and with a specialised dive and rescue organisation, where he developed the disciplined, structured approach that still defines his work today. In addition to multiple instructor certifications – PADI, CMAS, VDST, IANTD, technical diving and more – he is a state‑certified diving instructor in France, the only German national to hold this qualification.

With more than 40 years of experience in leading and operating dive centres, Alexander offers you a level of expertise built on consistency, meticulous attention to detail and a deep, lifelong relationship with the sea. He works fluently in German, English, French and Spanish – plus many guests speak of a personal “Alex language” shaped by experience and humour.

Lorenzo Vogl

Lorenzo discovered diving at the age of five and joined the European Diving School created by his father when he was 15. Today, at 25, he is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor and an instructor within the French federation FFESSM, currently completing his state instructor training in France.

He now shares his passion through tailor‑made dives that remain accessible to all levels, in an environment that is both highly professional and pleasantly relaxed. On private tours he accompanies Alexander as captain or safety diver/guide, ensuring a seamless, secure and memorable experience for you and your guests – whether you arrive by yacht, private jet or from your seaside residence.
